Head Swim Team Coach - Jon Schutter
Hi!
My name is Jon Schutter. I grew up in Dublin where I grew up up swimming for the Dublin Dolphins, Sean Dragons and Coffman Shamrocks. I attended undergrad at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia. There I Majored in Psychology and obtained a Commission into the US Army as an Infantry Officer. I served at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska as a Paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division. Swimming provided me with a foundation that allowed me to lead others and achieve success in adverse circumstances. My goal is to provide a fun summer that your kids can look back on fondly. I want them to feel accomplished at the end no matter what level they feel they are at. I think swimming provides a unique opportunity for kids to problem solve, push themselves and learn thrive in discomfort that positively influences day to day life.
If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out. I look forward to a fun and productive summer
