Meet Volunteer Jobs
The following duties involve participation at all home meets and some away meets. Please read all of the job descriptions. Each family is encouraged to volunteer during the three home meets and for the two away meets. Please remember that once you sign up for a volunteer position, it is your responsibility to make sure that you are either prepared to help as planned, or you have provided a replacement volunteer.
Swimmers are counting on us parents! Click on the following links to volunteer:

AWARDS/RIBBONS - Affix labels from meet results onto ribbons.
AGE GROUP PARENTS– Oversees swimmers in their age groups and ensures a continuous flow of traffic to the bullpen.
BULLPEN - Organize swimmers according to event, heat number and lane assignments immediately prior to their events.
SCORERS - Calculate points in finishing order.
RUNNERS/SCORING ASSISTANT - Assists with the Scoring table.
HEAT RIBBONS - Awarding heat winner ribbons to swimmers after each heat.
PHOTOGRAPHER - Snap about 50 or so photos during the meet and upload to the team's Shutterfly account.
Who are the Age Group Parent Volunteers - They are our team's most important volunteers and they are a BIG reason our meets run smoothly. The Age Group Parents check your children in at a meet and let them know what events they are swimming. Swimmers are asked to stay close to their designated age group area so the Parent Volunteers can group them and walk them to the bullpen when it is their turn to swim. It is NOT the job of the Age Group Parent Volunteers to babysit your child. Please check in often with your child. If a child is not in their area when it is their turn to line up, the volunteers will not go looking for them. Please be aware of when your child is getting ready to head over to the bullpen and walk over to their area to make sure they are ready to be lined-up. This is a huge job as these volunteers work the entire meet, every meet. Please take time to thank them for hard work to ensure the kids have a fun swim team experience.
