Dive Meet Information
For away meets, divers should arrive at the pool on Mondays by 2:15 pm for warm-ups. For home meets, divers should arrive at the pool by 1:15 pm for warm-ups. All dive meets starts at 3:00 pm. 6 & unders will dive first, followed by 7&8, 9&10, 11&12, 13&14, 15&18. Most meets will take between an hour and an hour and a half to complete.
On days when we have meets (the next 5 Mondays), we WILL still have morning practices, and during these morning practices, divers will select the dives they will perform in the meet that afternoon. If a diver is not at practice Monday morning, he/she will still have a sheet made for the meet, but Coach Sarah will pick the dives based on what she believes each diver will perform the best on in the meet.
Divers who are 10 and under will do 2 dives in each meet. These can consist of dives where help is required as well as jumps. 11-12s will do 3 dives, 13-14s will do 4 dives, and 15-18s will do 5 dives. All divers who are able, must compete front dive tuck, straight or pike in each meet in addition to another (or other) dive(s) of their choice.
