Good afternoon Marlins,

A couple points I wanted to send out as the season starts. Next week we start morning practices. We are using swimtopia again to sign up for meets. Parents will sign up for individual events and coaches will take care of relays. I encourage everyone to sign up for all meets this season that you plan on attending at once to make it simple. If a swimmer have to be removed from meets that they have signed up for we can do that I just ask that you communicate early and often. 

I get summer is a time of fun and happy chaos so there is no reason to notify the coaching team if your swimmer is not attending practice. Swimmers only have to participate in one meet to qualify for championships. Champs are tentatively 11 July for 8 and under swimmers and 13 July for everyone else. More to follow as the schedule gets finalized. If/when things change I will make sure it gets out to everyone. 

Elizabeth Caponi was kind enough to make an introduction flyer for parents new to the team with some helpful information pertaining to the season.
